The IMDA Digital Leaders Programme supports Singapore-based, non-ICT companies in building core in-house digital capabilities—from AI engineers to Chief Technology Officers (CTOs).
Scope:
- Launched by Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the DLP provides salary support and capability-building grants to help local businesses drive digital transformation from within.
Eligibility:
- Singapore-registered SMEs and non-SMEs (SMEs: Annual revenue ≤ S$100 million or ≤ 200 employees)
- Excludes government agencies and ICT companies
Key Features & Funding Support:
- Salary Support (Up to 50% co-funding for 2 years)
- Hire 1 CTO (or equivalent digital leadership role)
- Hire up to 5 digital specialists (e.g., AI engineers, data analysts, software developers)
- Project & Capability Enablement:
- Funding for engaging industry experts, technology partners, and solution providers for critical projects.
- Access to Strategic Resources:
- Participate in masterclasses, workshops, and webinars to equip your team with practical digital skills.

- Grant approval within ~2 months
- IMDA provides close support throughout the application process.
